First Android Phone by Sony Ericsson

Specifications Leaked for First ever android based Sony Ericsson phone

There are many mobile manufacturers that starting to look into new platform development with Linux-based Android OS (Operating System) such as the Motorola’s first Android based iDEN phone or the Skytone’s Alpha 680 as the world’s first Android based netbook, now seems like Sony Ericsson has been working on its first Android smartphones for high end consumer markets. Windows 7 RTM due on July 13th

Wait is over..Windows 7 RTM on July 13th

GeekSmack.net "confirmed" that Windows 7 was set to RTM (release to manufacturing) on July 13, which also coincides with Wzor's unconfirmed rumor last month. A few minutes ago sources close to the company, who wish to remain anonymous, have confirmed to Neowin that Windows 7 is indeed set to RTM on July 13.

After a year of furious beta testing and continuous leaks every other week, Microsoft is finally ready to give Windows 7 the green light to hit the market. Currently the Windows 7 team is working on polishing off the RTM build so that no show-stopper bugs are present in Windows 7. The date, July 13, also coincides with the kickoff of the Worldwide Partner Conference that is taking place in New Orleans.

Note: Don't confuse RTM and GA (General Availability), as these are two totally different phases. RTM in a nutshell is typically the final build that we will see when Windows 7 hits GA later this year (Unless, of course, there's a show-stopper bug found), but is released to manufacturers so they can work out any bugs the software may encounter with hardware devices. General availability is scheduled to launch on October 22, which will give the tech savvy world time to save up money.

So with that said TechNet, MSDN, and a few other partner connections will also be getting the RTM build on July 13. So let the countdown begin!

Camera for iPods

Yes..iPods to get Cameras in september

Based on recent actions by Apple it would appear that the next generation of iPods will be getting cameras. Rumors from around the web are citing independent verification that the iPod will receive a camera which only makes sense as an evolutionary step.

The iPod Touch seems like the most likely candidate to receive the camera as it is currently the top of the line iPod for Apple. Even more so is that the software to take pictures, record video, and edit the film is already written as the software for the iPhone.

TechCrunch is citing a source from within Asia that claims "Apple has placed an order for a massive number of camera modules of the type that they include in the iPhone. These are inexpensive cameras, in the $10 range. And the size of the order, our source says, means they can only be used for one thing - the iPods."

Macrumors has also posted up screen shots of a leaked iPod Touch case that has a hole cut out for the placement of the camera. Even more interesting is that there is also a leaked case for possibly the iPod Nano that also has a hole cut out for possibly a camera too. Remember though that case leaks are not a guaranteed source of information as there were leaks about an iPhone nano that never turned out to be true.

Apple generally releases new iPods in the September timeframe and usually runs a back to school special where buying a laptop nets you a free iPod (this is done to help clear out old inventory). Will Apple add a camera to its iPod line, probably, but which iPods will receive the camera still remains a mystery.

Unlock and jailbreak iPhone 3GS

Yes now iPhone 3GS can be Jailbroken and Unlocked

Purplera1n, unrelated to the Dev Team, has announced a solution to jailbreak the iPhone 3GS for both Windows and Intel Mac computers. The jailbreak allows users to download Cydia on their iPhone to install unofficial applications on their device.

The jailbreaking solution provided by purplera1n still does not allow Winterboard to be used as of yet. The method installs an application
called Freeze onto the device; this installs and unpacks Cydia.

Users who install Cydia onto their device can then proceed to install UltraSn0w which was recently released to unlock the iPhone 3G, now unlocks the iPhone 3GS. Users can freely use any service provider using a SIM card on their iPhone without being locked to selected service providers.

Users who have installed the iPhone 3.1 SDK will not be able to unlock their device due to the update in the baseband. The updated baseband in the 3.1 SDK prevents the exploit to unlock your iPhone from working. Users who updated previously may not be able to unlock their iPhone, according to The Dev Team Blog.

Warning: Users who jailbreak or unlock their iPhone may void the warranty and are cautioned to use this software at their own risk; purplera1n RC2 may still be buggy on Windows machines.

Google Chrome 2.0 Download Available

Google chrome 2.0 latest version is free to download!

Google's Chrome browser has been out for a little while now, and is already pretty popular with users. Development for it is ever pushing forward, and Google has just released version 2.0 of the browser, on Windows. It's actually not a huge release, but does come with some very welcome additions.

So, what can you expect in Chrome 2.0? You can find the improvements from the official Google Chrome blog below:

Improved New Tab Page:
The most requested feature from users was the ability to remove thumbnails from the New Tab page. Now you can finally hide that embarrassing gossip blog from the Most Visited section.

Full Screen Mode:
If you've ever given a presentation or watched a large video using Google Chrome, you might have wished you could use every last pixel on your screen for the content. Now you can hide the title bar and the rest of the browser window by hitting F11 or selecting the option in the Tools menu.

Form Autofill:
Filling out your information in forms over and over again can be tedious. Form autofill helps by showing information you've previously entered into the same form fields automatically. If at any point you want to clear out your information, that's easy to do from the Tools menu.

Increased Stability:
Google Chrome is more stable than ever -- we have fixed over 300 bugs that caused crashes since launch.

Increased Speed:
Making the web faster continues to be our main area of focus. Thanks to a new version of WebKit and an update to our javascript engine, V8, interactive web pages will run even faster. We've also made sure that javascript keeps running fast even when you have lots of tabs open. Try opening a bunch of web applications and then running your favorite benchmark. You can read more about V8 in our javascript scalability post on the Chromium blog.

It's good news to see that the browser is now about 30% faster, as it was already pretty speedy as it is. If you wish to watch Google's YouTube video of the release, we've included it below. If you're a current Chrome user, the update should be automatically available very soon (if it isn't already), but otherwise please visit the official website for the software to obtain it.

New iPhone to launch July 17, full specs leaked?

New iPhone with Full Specs-m Lovin it..!

Wired is reporting that a source closely connected to the Apple hardware team is giving out details about the suspected upcoming revision of the iPhone. Among the most important details are a launch date of July 17 (a Friday) and that it will come in two flavors of 16GB at $199.99 and 32GB at $299.99

Full potential leaked spec list below:
  • 32GB and 16GB storage (up from the current 16GB and 8GB models)
  • $199 and $299 price points to be maintained
  • 3.2-megapixel camera (up from the current 2-megapixel camera)
  • Video-recording and editing capabilities
  • Ability to send a picture & video via MMS
  • Discontinuation of the metal band surrounding the edge of the device
  • OLED screen
  • 1.5 times the battery life of the current models
  • Double the RAM and processing power
  • Built-in FM transmitter
  • Apple logo on back will glow
  • Rubber-tread backing
  • Sleeker design
  • Built-in compass
  • The camera, GPS, compass and Google map combined will identify photo and inform about photo locations
  • Turn-by-turn directions
The upgrades provide a solid reason to purchase a new one but do not provide any ground breaking features that haven't been seen before in a mobile device.

The FM transmitter is a nice feature but anyone who has tried to stream music to a car radio will tell you that they are nothing short of terrible, especially if you live in a populated area with many radio stations.

It won't be until early June when the world will find out if these specs are true or just another person looking for their 15 minutes of fame; albeit, they do line up nicely with some of the rumors that have been circulating the web.

Windows 7 is Free for students!

Yes..if u are student get windows 7 for free!

Thanks to Kevin. for the news tipWith many people wondering what the Windows 7 pricing will be and whether it will cost less, the same, or more than Vista, there are some ways you can legally get Windows 7 at a discount or even for free when the final version is ready later this year.

1. Between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010, any new computer purchased with Windows Vista will qualify for a free upgrade to Windows 7. So if you've been planning on purchasing a new PC in the near future, you should hold off just a little while longer.

2. Check and see if your school is with the MSDNAA or Microsoft Developers Network Academic Alliance. If they are, check with their specific MSDNAA site when the final version of Windows 7 comes out to see if they distribute it.

3. Check with Microsoft DreamSpark. This is a special site from Microsoft that gives out free software to people who have a valid e-mail address from any of the qualifying schools listed. It's possible they could put Windows 7 up there once it's released.

4. If you're in the US, Canada or Europe, and are in school, there's a site called Journey Ed that gives out software and other kinds of products at a discount. You just need to show them some kind of proof.

Windows 7 Build 7106 Now..!

Windows 7 Build 7106 is leaked and available for download!

The screenshot of the build isn't, as you can see, in English but there are apparently English versions that have been leaked, judging by the following build strings:7106.0.090408-1623_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULFRER_EN_DVD.iso7106.0.090408-1623_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULXFRER_EN_DVD.isoIt's unclear if this is the RC candidate build, or if Microsoft intends to progress further with their builds, but only time will tell. So far, changes to this build are unclear, but no doubt things will begin to show up soon enough. This build was reportedly going to be leaked a couple of days before it actually was, so that's rather strange.

Well search various torrent sides for the downloading link..

But it's conformed that it's not a fake build as it was supposed at it's initial stage..!

iPhone Dev Team Say’s iPhone Firmware 3.0 Beta is Jailbreakable

Good News for everyone..iPhone 3.0 is Jailbreakable..!!!

Earlier I posted iPhone Firmware 3.0 Features list which was previewed at Macworld Expo 2009 San Francisco. The next question which immediately comes after iPhone new firmware 3.0 is, will it be possible to jailbreak and unlock ?

Well Dev Team has some positive answers for this. The good news is that iPhone Dev Team have successfully Jailbroken iPhone Firmware 3.0 beta version which was distributed at Macworld expo.

Here is what iPhone Dev Team says,
“with all of the great stuff lined up for us with the 3.0 OS that Apple described today, many 3G owners may find themselves with itchy update fingers. If you find yourself with access to the 3G IPSW for 3.0 via the iPhone Dev Center program, and you are using yellowsn0w, do not update or restore to that official IPSW. You will lose yellowsn0w and find yourself unable to revert the baseband to get it back.
And for those wondering, yes the 3.0 OS is jailbreakable on all devices. It’s just those using 3G yellowsn0w that have to show some restraint and wait for PwnageTool to create a custom IPSW that avoids the baseband update.”

Above comment from iPhone Dev team makes it clear that Firmware 3.0 is still jailbrekable but do not restore your iPhone 3G to Firmware 3.0 if you want to have unlock capability with yellowsn0w. You need to wait for custom iPhone Firmware 3.0 ipws file created using pwnagetool.

Windows 7 Build 7048 64-bit (x64) Torrent Download

Windows might be RC release is out for you..

Windows 7 Build 7048, which may possibly to become the release candidate for upcoming Windows 7 operating system, has had its 64-bit (x64) installation files leaked on Internet. The leaked x64 Windows 7 Build 7048 appears to have the same build number with the Windows 7 Build 7048 screenshots leaked previously, which is version 6.1.7048.0 (winmain.090219-1845).
The Windows 7 Build 7048 x64 is leaked by DiamondNRG, the same people who also leaked Windows 7 Build 7022 x64 .

Download 64-bit (x64) Windows 7 Build 7048

Torrent: 7048_x64_Ultimate_EN_DVD [mininova].torrent or Windows_7_build_7048_X64.torrent

Size: 3.31GB
MD5 Hash: AD6F261F 6AC20FA0 F50F7DE7 54491863 A2DD16C2

Again, similar with Windows 7 Build 7022 that is been leaked by the same person, the download is not an actual DVD ISO image in its entirety. Instead, it's just a complete copy and rip of the installation files from the DVD.

To install Windows 7 Build 7048 x64, the easiest way currently is to in-place upgrade the existing installation of 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7. 32-bit (x86) users will be out-of-luck though, as the 64-bit setup.exe cannot be used on the 32-bit environment.

The same Windows 7 product key that given out by Microsoft for the beta can be used to activate Windows 7 built 7048.

Many changes has been made in Windows 7 Build 7048, including "Send Feedback" on title bar removed, correction of "Windows 7 Business" as "Windows 7 Professional" during installation, Paint icon changed, Calculator icon changed, Sticky Notes icon changed, version upgrade on Windows Media Center, Alt+Tab works with Aero Peek, 24-39% more icons available on taskbar before scrolling, Start button changed and some other additional features.
