Windows 7 RTM 32 bit and 64 bit ISO Download Link

Windows 7 RTM 32 bit and 64 bit ISO Download Link

Other than retail channel version of x86 and x64 Windows 7 RTM final gold DVD ISOs been leaked, the OEM version of Windows 7 Ultimate RTM original untouched and unmodified DVD ISO images have also leaked to internet. The Windows 7  RTM OEM ISO is a non-brand specific image released to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and system builders, which in turn distribute and support the Windows 7 OEM disc to end-users.

This OEM version of Windows 7 RTM ISO is not to be confused with brand-specific Windows 7 recovery disc or image that distributed by major PC vendors, which make use of OEM-specific digitally signed certificate (.xrm-ms) that matching with BIOS ACPI_SLIC table and OEM royalty SLP (System-Locked Preinstallation) product key for instant offline SLP self-activation. Instead, Windows 7 RTM OEM DVD disc ISO requires OEM NONSLP product keys to activate online or by phone, exactly similar with a retail product key, which distributed and supported directly by MICROSOFT, or OEM COA serial numbers pasted on sticker of new PC. The non OEM SLP key, from product key group ID 182, is similar with retail or upgrade product keys, it can be used only on one computer.
In any cases, there is no need to separately download OEM or retail version of Windows 7 RTM installation DVD ISO, as the retail version of Windows 7 installation can be easily converted by simply using the correct product key (e.g OEM_SLP product key can convert a retail Windows 7 installation to OEM version), as product keys issued by OEM has different base from retail product key. For the DVD ISO images, the only difference between a Windows 7 RTM retail ISO and Windows 7 RTM OEM ISO is at source/ei.cfg file [Channel] heading, which specifies either Retail or OEM channel.

The best way to use Windows 7 for free currently is to rearm Windows 7 for 120 days with no activation required. There are various Windows 7 cracks, activators and toolkits floating in Internet, which currently apply frankenbuild style of hacking by replacing Windows 7 RC pkeyconfig.xrm-ms & tokens.dat files to RTM system. By doing so, Windows 7 system can be activated, but it will expire on March 2010.

Windows 7 RTM due on July 13th

Wait is over..Windows 7 RTM on July 13th

GeekSmack.net "confirmed" that Windows 7 was set to RTM (release to manufacturing) on July 13, which also coincides with Wzor's unconfirmed rumor last month. A few minutes ago sources close to the company, who wish to remain anonymous, have confirmed to Neowin that Windows 7 is indeed set to RTM on July 13.

After a year of furious beta testing and continuous leaks every other week, Microsoft is finally ready to give Windows 7 the green light to hit the market. Currently the Windows 7 team is working on polishing off the RTM build so that no show-stopper bugs are present in Windows 7. The date, July 13, also coincides with the kickoff of the Worldwide Partner Conference that is taking place in New Orleans.

Note: Don't confuse RTM and GA (General Availability), as these are two totally different phases. RTM in a nutshell is typically the final build that we will see when Windows 7 hits GA later this year (Unless, of course, there's a show-stopper bug found), but is released to manufacturers so they can work out any bugs the software may encounter with hardware devices. General availability is scheduled to launch on October 22, which will give the tech savvy world time to save up money.

So with that said TechNet, MSDN, and a few other partner connections will also be getting the RTM build on July 13. So let the countdown begin!

Windows 7 Build 7127 (7127.0.090507-1820 Pre-RTM) Download

Download Pre-RTM Windows 7 Build 7127

Just barely a week after Microsoft officially made available Windows 7 RC download with the build version of 7100 publicly, a newer build of Windows 7 has been compiled by Microsoft and released to internal testers. And of course, the Windows 7 build 7127, which is post-Release Candidate build on the RTM-branch of Windows 7 operating system development tree has also been leaked to BitTorrent (BT) network, in the form of complete ISO files.

Microsoft has specified that there will only one and final release candidate available officially before the final RTM general availability release of Windows 7. Thus, unofficial leaked post-RC builds are the best shots Windows 7 enthusiasts can get a hand on the newer interim build of Windows 7. However, Windows 7 Build 7127 appears to not much different from Windows 7 RC build 7100 in term of user interface. However, there will be bug fixes and under the hood changes.

Windows 7 is Free for students!

Yes..if u are student get windows 7 for free!

Thanks to Kevin. for the news tipWith many people wondering what the Windows 7 pricing will be and whether it will cost less, the same, or more than Vista, there are some ways you can legally get Windows 7 at a discount or even for free when the final version is ready later this year.

1. Between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010, any new computer purchased with Windows Vista will qualify for a free upgrade to Windows 7. So if you've been planning on purchasing a new PC in the near future, you should hold off just a little while longer.

2. Check and see if your school is with the MSDNAA or Microsoft Developers Network Academic Alliance. If they are, check with their specific MSDNAA site when the final version of Windows 7 comes out to see if they distribute it.

3. Check with Microsoft DreamSpark. This is a special site from Microsoft that gives out free software to people who have a valid e-mail address from any of the qualifying schools listed. It's possible they could put Windows 7 up there once it's released.

4. If you're in the US, Canada or Europe, and are in school, there's a site called Journey Ed that gives out software and other kinds of products at a discount. You just need to show them some kind of proof.

Windows 7 Build 7106 Now..!

Windows 7 Build 7106 is leaked and available for download!

The screenshot of the build isn't, as you can see, in English but there are apparently English versions that have been leaked, judging by the following build strings:7106.0.090408-1623_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULFRER_EN_DVD.iso7106.0.090408-1623_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULXFRER_EN_DVD.isoIt's unclear if this is the RC candidate build, or if Microsoft intends to progress further with their builds, but only time will tell. So far, changes to this build are unclear, but no doubt things will begin to show up soon enough. This build was reportedly going to be leaked a couple of days before it actually was, so that's rather strange.

Well search various torrent sides for the downloading link..

But it's conformed that it's not a fake build as it was supposed at it's initial stage..!

Windows 7 Build 7048 64-bit (x64) Torrent Download

Windows might be RC release is out for you..

Windows 7 Build 7048, which may possibly to become the release candidate for upcoming Windows 7 operating system, has had its 64-bit (x64) installation files leaked on Internet. The leaked x64 Windows 7 Build 7048 appears to have the same build number with the Windows 7 Build 7048 screenshots leaked previously, which is version 6.1.7048.0 (winmain.090219-1845).
The Windows 7 Build 7048 x64 is leaked by DiamondNRG, the same people who also leaked Windows 7 Build 7022 x64 .

windows-7-build-7048-x64

Download 64-bit (x64) Windows 7 Build 7048

Torrent: 7048_x64_Ultimate_EN_DVD [mininova].torrent or Windows_7_build_7048_X64.torrent

Size: 3.31GB
MD5 Hash: AD6F261F 6AC20FA0 F50F7DE7 54491863 A2DD16C2

Again, similar with Windows 7 Build 7022 that is been leaked by the same person, the download is not an actual DVD ISO image in its entirety. Instead, it's just a complete copy and rip of the installation files from the DVD.

To install Windows 7 Build 7048 x64, the easiest way currently is to in-place upgrade the existing installation of 64-bit Windows Vista or Windows 7. 32-bit (x86) users will be out-of-luck though, as the 64-bit setup.exe cannot be used on the 32-bit environment.

The same Windows 7 product key that given out by Microsoft for the beta can be used to activate Windows 7 built 7048.

Many changes has been made in Windows 7 Build 7048, including "Send Feedback" on title bar removed, correction of "Windows 7 Business" as "Windows 7 Professional" during installation, Paint icon changed, Calculator icon changed, Sticky Notes icon changed, version upgrade on Windows Media Center, Alt+Tab works with Aero Peek, 24-39% more icons available on taskbar before scrolling, Start button changed and some other additional features.

Microsoft Windows 7 Application Compatibility Update

Another Test Update..perhaps..ms_win7

Following on from the Internet Explorer 8 update that Microsoft released for Windows 7 Beta a day ago, another update has been released targeting application compatibility.
Judging by these two updates released, Microsoft is progressing nicely, and the most recent update targets mainly games that did not run before hand, or had to be opened via compatibility-mode. Interestingly, Microsoft didn't state which applications were targeted in this update, but it is of no doubt that users will find out soon enough.
If you're currently having problems with gaming, or have had problems with it, in the Windows 7 Beta, install these updates and post in the comments to show which games now work, or still don't. As Ars Technica is reporting, this update have no affiliation what-so-ever with the Windows 7 test updates that have been released. You can choose to download the updates from the links below, or as usual, update using Windows Update.

Windows 7 RTM-Release in Sept or Oct 2009

The final edition of Windows 7, which commonly known as RTM (release-to-manufacturing) version, may be released and start shipping as early as in September or October 2009, months earlier that what Microsoft officially predicts on when Windows 7 will hit the market, January 2010.

According to Ray Chen, president of Taipei-based Compal Electronics Inc.,the maker of laptop personal computers for Hewlett-Packard Co. and Acer Inc, Windows 7 should be released on late September or early October according to current planning, as reported by Bloomberg.

According to Steven Sinofsky, senior vice president, Windows and Windows Live Engineering Group, Microsoft has decided to skip Windows 7 Beta 2 to go direct to RC (release candidate) development milestone for Windows 7, which is expected to release in April 2009, paving the way for the Windows 7 to go on prime time showcase on September or October.

In fact, Lotta Bath, from the Microsoft Sweden Partner team, has published a blog post which has since been taken down at http://blogs.msdn.com/partnerblogg/archive/2009/01/30/n-gra-h-ndelser-inf-r-lanseringen-av-windows-7.aspx, that specified deadlines to he upcoming Windows 7 releases, mapping a variety of events that would lead to the launch of Windows 7. The Windows 7 release roadmap date is said to be given by Michael Bohlin, Windows product manager.

According to Lotta Bath, Windows 7 RC will be released early April, after the CeBIT event, while Windows 7 RTM is set to release on October 3, at 11:10 AM. Microsoft itself will probably install Windows 7 from May 31st. There will be lots of events and presentations for business launch and consumer launch, which will run parallel during the 3Q 2009, including Windows 7 Summit, and during the lead up to the official launch of Windows 7. Some events will happen on 7th of every month too. However, the boxed retail version of Windows 7 is expected to hit the store only by February 2010.

Windows 7 Build 7032 screenshots leak

Looking for Windows 7025 instead of leaked 7022..think again!!!

Windows 7032 is Live Now..

As Windows is getting ready for its RC release, we have WinFuture post screenshots of Windows 7 Build 7032, compiled on January 29, 2009 at 6:12PM. Last weekend Windows 7 Build 7022 got leaked to the internet. Currently the only official build available to testers and the general public is build 7000.
There are a few noticeable changes in this build when compared to the (leaked) 7022 build.

The Home Group also has a new icon as well.

Two new themes - Architectures and Characters are new to this build besides the addition of various new wallpapers.

However, this build does not include the UAC fix and most probably they would be included only in the RC build as Microsoft had said earlier.

Microsoft listens, changes UAC behavior in Windows 7

Finally Microsoft listens to its users..!

Long Zheng and Rafael had come up with proof earlier that malware can turn off UAC in Windows 7. Later Microsoft responded insisting that this is by design and actually not a bug. Microsoft has finally agreed to do changes to the Windows 7 UAC and deliver the changes to the Windows 7 Release Candidate.
Jon DeVann and Steven Sinofsky have blogged about the two changes Microsoft is planning to bring to Windows 7 RC:

  • UAC control panel will run in a high integrity process
  • Changing the level of the UAC will also prompt for confirmation

There you go! Simple changes, but brings out big differences to the way UAC behaves in Windows 7!
UAC control panel will run in a high integrity process
UAC control panel running in a high integrity process means it requires elevation. So, you might get prompted to change the UAC settings in your system, even if you are an protected admin (the default user account created during the installation process)

Expect the UAC icon appear just before the setting Change User Account Control Settings in the above screenshot in Windows 7 RC
Changing the level of the UAC will also prompt for confirmation
As there is going to be a prompt for confirmation to change the UAC level, expect a prompt when you click Ok to change your UAC settings

These two changes are more than enough to make Windows 7 UAC to respond to the threat Zheng and Rafael had come up. The user now, when running a malware has to bypass the UAC prompt in order to execute it.
Jon and Steven still insisted on - Malware making it onto a PC and being run Vs What it can do once it is running - and treat very seriously the ability to get code on a machine and run without consent.
They were also very serious that users should still not download code and run it unless the source is trusted. HTML, EXE, VBS, BAT, CMD and more are all code and all have the potential to alter the environment (user settings, user files) running as a standard user or an administrator.
So, here we have - many were furious about this UAC flaw, Microsoft listened, reiterated back that 'this is by design' and now have responded really well!
Thanks Microsoft!
